Thousands of Potomac Edison customers in the Tri-State area remained without power Monday following a weekend storm that left more than 3 inches of snow in some parts of the region. At its peak, about 10,000 Allegany County residents were without power.
Potomac Edison spokesman Todd Meyers said restoration of power is expected to take the most time in Washington County, adding that it could take until Wednesday to restore power to some customers in Western Maryland.
