June 19th, 2017 by WCBC Radio

An Eckhart motorcyclist was issued eight traffic citations Sunday after he reportedly failed to stop for Frostburg Police and then drove onto the Great Allegheny Passage at the Frostburg trailhead. The Cumberland Times News reports police said an attempt was made to stop the motorcyclist, who was later identified as 18-year-old Kain A. Doman, at Water and Mechanic streets shortly after 5 p.m.  A chase ensued with the officer pursuing the fleeing motorcyclist on Main Street to Depot Street and New Hope Road before Doman allegedly eluded police by accessing the trail, which is not open to motorized vehicles. Doman was located a short time later and issued citations for driving without a motorcycle license, driving an uninsured motor vehicle, operating an unregistered vehicle on the highway, reckless driving, negligent driving, attempting to elude a uniformed police officer, failure to obey a traffic control device and driving the wrong way on a one-way street, police said.
