Farrell thinks politics played role in Root’s appointment

In case you missed it during the course of the holiday weekend, Dr Ed Root has been appointed by the governor to fill the vacant seat on the Allegany County Board of Education. The entire process to remove board member Wayne Foote actually began late last December- and it’s a process School Board President Robert Farrell believes has overturned the will of the voters. Foote, Farrell and David Bohn campaigned as a slate in the 2018 Board of Education election- and all three were elected. Farrell recently told WCBC’s “Dave Norman Show” that it appears there has been some orchestrated, political maneuvering taking place behind the scenes…

    Great way to start off the new board arrangement. Go on the radio and trash everyone so the state can hear it. Some things never change.
