The City of Cumberland would like to notify the public on behalf of Potomac Edison that beginning Monday March 13 through Wednesday March 15 weather permitting a new utility pole will be installed at the intersection of Harrison and Mechanic Streets. This installation will cause a lane reduction on Harrison Street from the West I68 on ramp to Mechanic Street and on Mechanic Street from Harrison Street to the East I68 on ramp. Flaggers will be present allowing traffic to maintain use of the roadway. Please use caution in the area and expect delays while the work is taking place.
