We're receiving reports that the severe thunderstorms that rolled through our area early Wednesday did extensive damage to Spruce Forest Artisan Village near Grantsville.
National Weather Service in Pittsburgh will likely send a damage analysis team to determine if the storm included any tornadic activity.
Through it's Facebook page, Spruce Forest says that no one was injured as a result of the storm. The area has been marked with yellow caution tape to keep sightseers away. Eyewitnesses report that most of the damage was to trees, and that structural damage was kept to a minimum.
In surveying damage from the storm, NWS has already said there was a tornado near Tarentum, Pennsylvania.
