Fairmont Doctor Pleads No Contest

A West Virginia doctor has pleaded no contest to illegally distributing prescription painkillers, leading to the overdose deaths of her neighbor and three others in a state that already has the highest per capita overdose death rate in the U.S.

Edita Milan, 75, of Fairmont, was motivated by greed, the U.S. attorney's office said, which she allowed to "overcome her morals and common sense."
