FEMA Extends Deadline To Seek Flood Assistance In WV

West Virginia Governor Earl Ray Tomblin Tuesday announced that the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) has granted his request for a two-week extension for residents affected by the June flooding to apply for individual assistance. The last day to apply for this direct federal aid is now Wednesday, September 7.  Eligible residents must live in one of the federal disaster-declared counties, which are: Clay, Fayette, Greenbrier, Jackson, Kanawha, Lincoln, Monroe, Nicholas, Pocahontas, Roane, Summers and Webster.
