The Cumberland Times News reports volunteer firefighters from around the region are battling a structure fire at the Great Cacapon Volunteer Fire Department station. It was unclear if all of the fire company's apparatus were able to be removed from the building located on Spring Street. Some homes in the area were being evacuated. Units from Allegany, Mineral and Hampshire counties have also been sent to the area.
