WCBC News has learned of a fire at the Greater Cumberland Airport that occurred Wednesday night. The airport manager called Mineral County Emergency Dispatch shortly after 8PM after he was notified that 15 connected hangers were on fire with the airplanes inside. Eight fire companies from West Virginia and Maryland responded and were on scene for approximately four hours. There were no injuries and the state Fire Marshals office is investigating.
