The offices of WCBC Radio at 35 Baltimore Street were briefly evacuated at approximately 11:15 Wednesday after smoke was observed coming from a rear furnace room. Cumberland fire units responded to the scene and had the situation under control in a matter of minutes. The building was cleared and re-opened shortly after 12 noon.
