The Maryland State Fire Marshal’s office is continuing to investigate the fire which occurred early Wednesday morning on Bedford Road.
The blaze did $70,000 in damage to a wood framed single family dwelling owned by Debbies Properties LLC.
30 firefighters responded, with Bedford Road as the lead department. It only took 10 minutes to bring the 4 AM fire under control, but traffic was blocked for several hours during the operation and clean up.
