Fire Marshal Probing Rawlings Blaze

The Maryland State FIre Marshal's Office is looking into a blaze that occurred in a one story wood framed 30×40 foot barn at the intersection of McMullen Highway SW and 21st Ridge Street in Rawlings at 8:41 PM Wednesday.

The structure is part of the Mastro Domonic Estate and suffered $1000 in damage.

Potomac Volunteer Fire Department responded with 25 fire fighters, who took about 10 minutes to bring the blaze under control.

Anyone with information on this fire is asked to call the State Fire Marshal's Office at 301-766-3888.
