Flood Warning in effect for Allegany and Mineral counties

The National Weather Service in Sterling Virginia has issued a

* Flood Warning for... 
  northwestern Allegany County in western Maryland... 
  northeastern Mineral County in eastern West Virginia... 

* until 800 PM EDT.

* At 400 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing
  heavy rain which will cause flooding. Up to two inches of rain 
  have already fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of one inch are 
  possible.

* Some locations that may experience flooding include... 
  Cumberland, Bel Air, la Vale, Ridgeley, Cresaptown, Potomac Park,
  Wiley Ford, Rawlings, Corriganville, Brady, Pinto and Short Gap.
