The process to remove Wayne Foote from the Allegany County Board of Education began just before Christmas last year and wrapped up this week with the state board of education voting for his ouster. Foote still has the option of appealing the decision to Allegany County Circuit Court- however with the ten month process having included several days of hearings; oral arguments and opinions from an administrative law judge and the attorney general’s office- it appears unlikely the local court would go against the state ruling. An easier route for Foote could be to simply run for the office again next year. WCBC News asked Foote if that is something he will consider…
