Bernard L. “Bernie” Loar, 65, of Frederick, formerly of Cumberland, died Monday, May 14, 2012. Bernie was a 28 year employee of the Kelly Springfield Tire Company. Bernie was the former President of the Allegany County Commissioners. He was also the proprietor of the Crusin’ Café in Downtown Cumberland.
Friends will be received at the Scarpelli Funeral Home, P.A., 108 Virginia Ave., Cumberland,on Saturday from 5 to 7:30 p.m. Inurnment will be held at Maryland State Veterans Cemetery, Rocky Gap, Flintstone, at a later date.
