Former Maryland Republican US Representatives Endorse Biden

August 24th, 2020 by WCBC Radio

Two Republicans who formerly represented Maryland in U.S. Congress have endorsed Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden, joining about two dozen other Republican former U.S. representatives throwing their support behind Biden.

Connie Morella and Wayne Gilchrest were among the 25 Republican former U.S. representatives who endorsed Biden over Trump, according to a statement released by Biden’s campaign Monday.

Gilchrest served as Maryland’s representative for District 1 from 1991 through 2009, and Morella served as Maryland’s representative for District 8 from 1987 through 2003, The Baltimore Sun reported.

The announcement came the day the Republican National Convention began in Charlotte, North Carolina. Last week at the Democratic National Convention, multiple Republicans spoke about their decisions to endorse Biden, including former Ohio Gov. John Kasich and former New Jersey Gov. Christine Todd Whitman.

We have 15 cases and soon it will be down to zero.
It will go away, like a miracle.
We have it completely under control.
I wanna see the churches packed on Easter Sunday.
We should put disinfectants and UV light inside our bodies.
I’m a stable genius. I can remember person, woman, man, camera, TV.
Mexico will pay for the wall.

I could probably come up with 2 or 3 hundred more but it upsets Kathy and Dan.

Endorsing for what? Role in the “Walking Dead?” His debility is obvious. As some have said, a form of elder abuse. Already a year older than Reagan when he left office. A train wreck being manipulated to get who the leadership wants, not the candidate the voters wanted, or they would have had Biden drop out and put in Bernie.

I dunno Patrick. I’m not a big Biden fan. I agree, he’s too old. But so is Trump. Seems to me Joe’s acceptance speech at the DNC was pretty strong and coherent unlike the rambling word salad speeches that Trump gives.

So Joe can memorize a speech that they put on a teleprompter in front of him. This what we should vote for? The nursing homes are full of this caliber of candidate. If he is elected he will be removed within a year and “sleep your way to the top” Harris will be president and who ever the left wing loons want as Vice President. This is a viable option to Trump?

Dave, If a speech is on a teleprompter you don’t have to memorize it. All President’s read from teleprompter.

Kathy, I would really appreciate it if you would explain to me what I don’t get. Thank you.

The mental condition of Joe Biden and the communist/socialist regime the Democrats really are, that’s what you don’t get!

Communism – a political theory derived from Karl Marx, advocating class war and leading to a society in which all property is publicly owned and each person works and is paid according to their abilities and needs.

Socialism – a political and economic theory of social organization which advocates that the means of production, distribution, and exchange should be owned or regulated by the community as a whole.

I don’t see the Dems standing for either of these. Seems to me, the Dems want democracy, free and unfettered elections, a free market economy with good jobs, upgrades to the infrastructure, and the rule of law according to the Constitution. If you really study it Pat, the Repubs are more aligned with these two forms of government than the Dems. 85% of the stock market is owned by the wealthiest 10% of the country. Are you in that 10%? I’m not.
