Former Mineral County Commissioner Pleads Guilty To Receiving Child Pornography

Stephen Craig Sluss, Former Mineral County Commissioner and state delegate, plead guilty Monday to recieving child pornography. Receiving child pornography carries a sentance of at least 5 years and up to 20 years in federal prison.

Sluss admitted in April 2017 to receiving videos online of prepubescent minors engaged in sexual acts. He also admitted to having over 600 images and videos of that nature with some involving sadistic conduct.

Sentencing is scheduled for July 19th.
