Dozens of volunteer firefighters from around the area are battling a residential fire in Fort Ashby. The Cumberland Times News reports fire companies from Mineral and Hampshire counties in West Virginia and Allegany County in Maryland were called to state Route 28 near Painter Hollow Road just after 7 p.m.
All occupants were reportedly out of the home when firefighters arrived.
Route 28 is also reportedly closed around the fire scene.
