On 03/28/2015 Cumberland City Police officers were dispatched to an apartment at Fort Cumberland Homes in reference to a possible breaking and entering in progress. The complainant in this case reported that they were able to see two subjects attempting to enter an apartment through a window. Officers arrived on the scene and located the two suspects involved. During the investigation, one suspect identified as Jakeenan Corderay Jennings, 24, of Cumberland was found to be in violation of a no trespass order previously filed against him by the Cumberland Housing Authority. As a result, Jennings was placed under arrest and charged with the following:
Trespassing: Private Property – 1 count
Jennings was released after being charged on a criminal citation and is pending trial at the Allegany County District Court.
