Four arrested in Keyser burglary ring

The Cumberland Times News reports four Keyser residents have been arrested following a joint investigation into a series of burglaries that took place in the Keyser area in recent months, according to West Virginia State Police. Travis Disney, 21; Richard Thompson, 20; Danielle Bean, 35; and Daniel Bean, 42, all of Keyser, were charged with numerous counts of burglary, breaking and entering, conspiracy, receiving stolen property, possession of a controlled dangerous substance and grand larceny, among other offenses. The investigation began in April and included state police at the Keyser and Tucker County detachments, Keyser Police Department, Mineral County and Allegany County sheriff's office.

Numerous search warrants were executed, resulting in recovery of an estimated $20,000 worth of stolen property.

 

Disney remained jailed Wednesday at the Potomac Highlands Regional Jail in Augusta in lieu of $37,000 bond.

Thompson was arrested July 15 and posted $5,000 that day for his pre-trial release.

Daniel Bean and Danielle Bean posted $4,000 each on July 20, the day of their arrests, for their pre-trial release, according to the Mineral County Magistrate's Office.
