Four Deaths, Nearly 500 New Coronavirus Cases Confirmed in MD

Four more Maryland residents have died after contracting COVID-19, according to Monday's update from the state health department. The total number of cases in the state has surpassed 136,000. The news comes one day after Governor Hogan's office announced no deaths had occurred in the state over a 24-hour period during the weekend. The Maryland Department of Health said 497 new cases have been confirmed and the statewide positivity rate is now at 3.14 percent.
