Accused: Festus Mutinda, 43 year old male from Nottingham, Maryland
Charges: Negligent Driving
Disposition: Vehicle towed by OK Towing
Narrative: On above date and time, Troopers from the Maryland State Police McHenry Barrack were dispatched to E/B I-68 @ 28 mile marker for a single vehicle motor vehicle collision. Upon arrival, troopers observed the listed vehicle jack knifed in the eastbound median strip. The listed driver was assisted out of the vehicle by Frostburg EMS and Northern Garrett Fire. The driver was transported to WMHS for his injuries. Investigation revealed that the tractor and trailer was traveling eastbound I-68 in the area of the 28 mile marker. The vehicle lost control due to driving too fast for the snow covered road conditions. The vehicle travelled into the median and jack knifed. The operator of the vehicle was charged with negligent driving.
