While it isn’t an unexpected development, it was still a shock to the Allegany County Commissioners when Emergency Services Director Dick DeVore presented a letter from Frostburg Area Ambulance Service to effectively transfer the operation to the county in the very near future…
All three commissioners agreed that residents of the Frostburg area need to have emergency medical coverage and directed DeVore and his staff to make the necessary arrangements.
