Frostburg Man Arrested On Burglary Charges

On January 7th the owners of a Chestnut Street, Frostburg residence returned home to discover that someone had broken into their home by breaking a glass window. Once inside, the suspect removed numerous items, including electronic equipment, jewelry, and prescription medication. The total value of the items stolen was valued at over $1200.00.  A joint investigation by the Frostburg Police and the Allegany County Combined Criminal Investigation Unit (C3I) led to the identity of the suspect. Several items reported stolen by the victims were recovered at two different locations in Frostburg.  As a result, 23 year old Matthew Douglas Borror, of Frostburg, was arrested on last Wednesday when he surrendered himself to authorities. Borror was charged with 1st Degree Burglary, 3rd Degree Burglary, 4th Degree Burglary, Felony Theft between $1000.00 and $10,000.00, and related charges. Borror was taken before a District Court Commissioner for an initial appearance. He has been released on personal recognizance pending his next court appearance
