Cumberland Police arrested on Saturday William Christopher Hendrickson for Possession of a Controlled Dangerous Substance Not Marihuana and for unlawfully removing a prescription label as required by state law. Police responded to a business on Wineow Street and contacted a manager who had made a complaint about two subjects inside. As police were investigating the complaint, a prescription bottle was observed in the immediate vicinity of the subjects with the label removed. Investigation revealed the contents of the prescription bottle to be methadone, a schedule II narcotic. Hendrickson was arrested for the CDS violations. He was taken before a District Court Commissioner where he was held on $3500 bond.
