Frostburg Police Report Activities

March 11th, 2018 by WCBC Radio

On Saturday, at approximately 10:54 a.m., Frostburg City Police responded to a motor vehicle crash at the intersection of Cemetery Road and East Mechanic Street.

Upon investigating at the scene, officers found that Sarah E. Garrison, 19, of Frostburg, had been driving a 2005 Ford eastbound on East Mechanic Street and had a stop sign at the intersection. Lillian L. M. Spiker, 80, of Frostburg, had been driving southbound on Cemetery Road, approaching the intersection, with the right-of-way. The investigation revealed that Garrison failed to stop at the stop sign and yield the right-of-way in the intersection, upon which her vehicle collided with Spiker’s vehicle.

No injuries were reported; however, both vehicles had to be towed from the scene. Garrison was cited for failure to stop at a stop sign and yield right-of-way at an intersection.
