FSU student arrested on drug charges

On Monday, Feb. 5, 2018, Frostburg State University Police arrested Jerry Wallace Page, 19, and charged him with robbery, assault second degree, theft less than $100, attempt to distribute CDS, CDS possession with intent to distribute and CDS possession of marijuana, in connection with an incident on the FSU campus that occurred on Feb. 2, 2018, between the Cumberland and Annapolis residence halls.

In the Friday incident, a Frostburg resident reported being punched in the face by a male FSU student. The investigation revealed that the Frostburg man had made arrangements to meet someone at that location to purchase marijuana. When they met, the other person punched him in the face and stole two $5 bills from him and ran into a residence hall. The man followed him into the hall, a fight ensued, but other person escaped. The other person was later identified to be Jerry Wallace Page, an FSU student and a resident of Cumberland Hall. Consent was received to search his room, where two $5 bills, a clear plastic bag containing 116 grams of marijuana and a digital scale with suspected marijuana residue were seized.

After his arrest, Page was taken before a District Court Commissioner for a bond hearing. He was held without bond and transported to the Allegany County Detention Center.
