Frostburg State University President Jonathan Gibralter said Tuesday that the university’s ongoing efforts to curb binge drinking among students has garnered national attention. Gibralter spoke to a gathering of faculty, staff and students during the annual fall convocation in the university’s Lane Center Tuesday afternoon. With fall enrollment up 3.1% over last year, Gibralter said its more important than ever to get the message out to those students attending college for the first time.
