Gambling Expansion Still Not Finalized

The expansion of gambling in Maryland needs a special session this summer to place the issue on the November ballot.  The state’s top 3 Democrats met this week to discuss the issue but nothing has been finalized.  Governor Martin O’Malley and House Speaker Michael Busch support a special session, and Senate President Mike Miller says some arm twisting likely needs to take place.
