The Garrett County Health Department has announced that Walgreens in Oakland has the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine available this week. The Health Department has indicated that this vaccine is approved for 16 and 17 year-olds. Anyone desiring the vaccine should go to the Walgreens’ website (https://www.walgreens.com/) to register. The vaccine for this age group may also be available in Hagerstown but the local option is available to those interested. Please direct questions to the GCHD or Walgreens.
