Investigation of an alleged domestic assault led to the arrest of a Friendsville woman early Monday evening, according to the Garrett County Sheriff's Office. The Cumberland Times News reports officers responding to the 6:12 p.m., complaint arrested Marilyn Lee McGehee, 27, on a charge of second-degree assault following an incident on Old Morgantown Road in Friendsville. The victim apparently did not seek medical treatment. McGehee remained jailed Tuesday at the Garrett County Jail awaiting a bond hearing by a district court commissioner.
