Gas prices across the nation are generally holding steady heading into the 2nd weekend of October, but they are continuing to drop locally. The National average is up two cents from a week ago at $2.31 a gallon for regular unleaded, while Maryland prices were unchanged hold at $2.24. In Cumberland prices at the pump are down three cents from a week ago, standing at $2.24
