Gas Prices Lowered in August

The national average price for regular unleaded gasoline dropped to $3.63 per gallon this week, a two cent drop in the past week.  According to AAA Mid-Atlantic, this current price is 15 cents more expensive than one month ago and 10 cents more expensive than the same day last year. Maryland’s average price dropped to $3.65 per gallon, a four cent decrease from week ago prices. Today’s price reflects an increase of 19 cents compared to a month ago and a 15 cent increase compared to the same day last year.
