Gas prices sliding

In the final weeks of the summer driving season, Maryland drivers continue to get a break at the pump as prices drop for another week. Gas price averages are down by six cents statewide in the last week and down by 26 cents in comparison to one year ago. The gas price average in Maryland today is $2.54, which is down six cents in the last week, 19 cents in the last month and is 26 cents lower than on this date last year.  Today’s national gas price average is $2.63, down respectively four cents in the last week, 16 cents in the last month and 21 cents from this time last year.
