Gibralter Says Leaving FSU was Difficult

Frostburg State University President Jonathan Gibralter tells WCBC News that his decision to leave FSU was among the most difficult of his career. After nearly nine years on the job, Dr Gibralter announced this week that he has accepted the presidency of Wells University in New York and will be ending his tenure at FSU at the end of June. Gibralter, who has gained a national reputation in academic circles during his time in Frostburg, says he has been heavily recruited in recent months. He says the experience gained while heading FSU has proven invaluable- and he will miss it…
