Gov. Hogan Gives Thanks For Support During Baltimore Crisis

Three weeks ago tonight, violence, looting and rioting was rampant in the streets of downtown Baltimore leading to dozens of injuries, 15 buildings burned and more than 100 arrested. In total, a preliminary estimate of nine million dollars in damage.  Ultimately the National Guard was deployed to restore order, as well as law enforcement officers from across the state- including from Cumberland- being called in to assist.  With the return to normalcy,  Maryland Governor Larry Hogan took time out to thanks everyone for the outpouring of support and assistance during Baltimore’s time of crisis…
