Gov. Hogan’s Job Approval Rating At 70%

Governor Larry Hogan's job approval rating now stands at 70%, according to a new statewide poll. The Gonzales Poll of 809 registered voters finds 45% strongly approve of the job Hogan is doing, 25% somewhat approve. In other issues, 64% of Maryland voters favor reducing the state’s personal income tax rate by 10 percent over the next 3 years.  Sixty-seven percent favor increasing the state tax on cigarettes from the current 2 dollars per pack to 3 dollars per pack. On of the question of eliminating mandatory minimum jail sentences for nonviolent drug offenders, Marylanders were split along party lines…
