Gov. Receives Update On Heroin & Opioid Crisis In Allegany County

Maryland Governor Larry Hogan received an update on the latest escalating overdose and fatality figures resulting from the heroin and opioid crisis in Allegany County- and unfortunately the numbers are not getting any better.  Those alarming statistics- through September- show more than 230 overdoses, with 34 of those resulting in death. The Governor praised the Allegany County Sheriff’s Office and local law enforcement on the latest efforts- emphasizing that it’s going to take all segments of the community to halt the crisis…
