The Garrett County Board of Education confirms to WCBC News that Grantsville Elementary School was locked down from 1:33 PM until 2 PM Monday due to a report of a man with a gun near the school. Law enforcement was notified and investigated.
Maryland State Police at McHenry reports that the incident was related to hunting and no charges were filed.
