Delivering a lengthy state of the city address this week, Cumberland Mayor Brian Grim said that while there are challenges, overall the city is in a strong position moving forward. Grim’s speech- which ran longer than Governor Larry Hogan’s state of the state address- focused on the productivity of each city department, in spite of losses in personnel and revenue. Looking ahead, Mayor Grim said given that it’s an election year; it’s a good time for citizens to map a course for the city for the next few years…
