While the proposed Rolling Mill economic development project has its share of critics- Cumberland Mayor Brian Grim tells WCBC News that the city is close to a fiscal crisis- and expanding the tax base by such projects is the only feasible way to move forward. Work continues on demolishing properties in Rolling Mill to make way for a commercial development including a national chain restaurant- about a dozen holdouts aren’t willing to move- and that could impact the scale of the project.
