Authorities are seeking a man wanted for allegedly passing multiple worthless checks in Hampshire County.
Nathan Sions, chief deputy of the Hampshire County Sheriff's Office, said Wednesday that Patrick W. Vanmeter, 25, also has several outstanding warrants in other counties.
Vanmeter's last known address was in Fisher, Hardy County, Sions said.
Anyone with information about Vanmeter's whereabouts is asked to contact the sheriff's office at 304-822-3894.
