Hearings Expected To Focus On Maryland Health Care Exchange

Both House Speaker Michael Busch and Senate President Mike Miller say that they expect the problems of the health exchange to be the focus of hearings when the Maryland General Assembly begins its new session next month. Perhaps best demonstrating how much of a mess the program has been is the fact that in the past week Governor Martin O’Malley and Lt Governor Anthony Brown have conducted a total of three press conferences to explain how the problems are being addressed. On Monday, O’Malley said while he's confident nine major problems with the state’s health care exchange website have been resolved, he says some computer glitches continue…
