Hurricane Hermine made landfall in Florida's Big Bend area early Friday as the first hurricane to hit the state in more than a decade, bringing soaking rain and high winds. Tropical Storm Hermine may impact the Maryland and Delaware beaches over the weekend over the Labor Day weekend, though it's unlikely at this point that the Baltimore area sees the storm's worst. With the storm moving in, Ocean City may see rough surf and rip currents through holiday. The system is expected to move out of the region by Monday.
