Hogan Appoints Widmyer Western Maryland Representative

Mark Widmyer has been appointed as Governor Larry Hogan’s official “Western Maryland Representative”. Widmyer, a local businessman and former Judge of Orphans Court in Allegany County, has long been active in the local republican party. He currently serves on the Republican Central Committee and was a campaign organizer in Allegany and Garrett counties during Hogan’s successful bid for governor last year. As the governor’s regional representative, Widmyer will attend functions and events on his behalf- covering Garrett, Allegany, Washington and Frederick counties.
