Hogan Bemoans Continued Government Shutdown

Maryland Governor Larry Hogan, on WBAL Wednesday  bemoaned the continued government shutdown, now entering its 20th day. Maryland is especially affected, being home to 147,000 federal employees, 28,000 of whom are not getting paid as the shutdown drags on. The state is paying out unemployment insurance to those who need it, but Hogan said more may be hurt if the shutdown continues, with funding for food stamps runs out at the end of January. The governor has not impressed with addresses Tuesday night by President Donald Trump and Democratic leadership…
