Ben Jealous says Maryland Governor Larry Hogan is only funding education at the minimum required by law and a level far below what children need. Jealous, a Democratic candidate for governor, made the charge in an interview on WBAL radio. In addition, he says lottery money and casino money were falsely presented as a panacea for education funding. Other democratic candidates have made similar claims.
