Hogan to Spend Friday in Allegany County

In the past year and a half, it has become routine for Maryland Governor Larry Hogan to send cabinet secretaries to all parts of the state for routine visits with local governments- a trend that the Allegany County Commissioners have enthusiastly embraced.  Earlier this month the commissioners met with the deputy secretary of transportation, and during the summer months the secretaries of the Department of the Environment as well as Commerce made stops in Cumberland. On Friday, the governor himself will spend the day in Allegany County beginning with a presentation at Rocky Gap and closing with stops at Frostburg State University and downtown Cumberland.  After often having difficulty in having a voice in Annapolis during the O’Malley administration, County Commissioners President Jake Shade said Governor Hogan’s “one Maryland” approach a refreshing change…
