Holiday Lights Program at Rocky Gap

 Lights By The Lake, a synchronized music and holiday light show featuring more than 150,000 lights set to music, has opened for the third consecutive year at Rocky Gap State Park. The light show will be open every Friday, Saturday and Sunday through Dec. 23 from 6 to 10 p.m. Event organizer Jay Gardner the show allows participants to drive through or park and watch the 40-minute show. Music for the show plays through a vehicle’s radio. An indoor snack bar will be open with a “Whoville” theme of decorations. The event serves as a fundraiser for the Volunteer Team at Rocky Gap, and gate proceeds support park improvements and maintenance of the park’s aviary. Admission is $5 per vehicle.
