Homecoming Locker Decorating Will Not Be Allowed At New Allegany High School

The new Allegany High School will bring with it many of the traditions of the old school- but one that will be ending this year centers on the use of lockers. Decorating player’s lockers has long been a ritual leading up to the annual Allegany- Fort Hill homecoming game – but that will not be the case this fall. Principal Mike Calhoun tells WCBC News there are a number of reasons for the change, including a lack of adequate security in the evenings, as well as many students and parents overstepping the boundaries that had been outlined for the decorations.
